Wow, I've never been ashamed of living on the US. But now I am.
Basically, this government program is a data miner, designed to freely access data from phone calls, e-mails, chats, skype chats user accounts from sites like Google, Yahoo, Youtube, etc. I value my privacy and it's just a blow to hear that the US government has been doing this since 2007, and it is more observing of foreign users on US servers.
It all sounds like a bad science fiction movie. The government spying on unwitting citizens...
